1. Acceptance
By creating an account or otherwise using Painspotter (painspotter.ai), you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
Painspotter aggregates and analyzes publicly available discussions from Reddit, Product Hunt, Hacker News, YouTube, and similar platforms to surface business opportunities and pain points. The output is generated, in part, by large language models. It is provided for research and inspiration; it is not investment advice or a guarantee of market success.
3. Your account
You must provide a valid email and choose a strong password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for any activity under your account.
You may close your account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to us. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service, breach these Terms, or appear to be operated by bots.
4. AI-generated content disclaimer
Opportunity scores, summaries, recommendations, and quoted excerpts are produced by an AI pipeline. They may be incomplete, biased, or simply wrong. Verify before acting on any opportunity. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose.
5. User-generated content & sources
We do not claim ownership over the original posts and comments we analyze. They remain the property of their respective authors and platforms. We display only short anonymized excerpts under fair-use / fair-dealing principles for the purpose of analysis and commentary.
If you are the author of a quoted excerpt and want it removed, write to paininsight40@outlook.com and we will comply within 30 days.
6. Prohibited use
You may not:
- scrape or systematically download data from our pages;
- attempt to bypass authentication, paywalls, or rate limits;
- resell our analytical output as your own product;
- use the service to harass any user identifiable from our content; or
- violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Some features require a paid subscription, billed via Stripe. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion and considered case-by-case.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections 4 (AI disclaimer), 8 (liability), 10 (governing law) survive termination.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding arbitration in Hong Kong, except that small-claims actions may proceed in court.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms. The Last updated date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use after a revision means you accept the new Terms.
