What is the best tool for reviewing AI-generated pull requests with screenshots?

The best tool would be a GitHub-native app that posts before/after screenshots and a short recording directly into the PR. Most current tools either handle testing or code review, but not the visual proof layer between them.

How do you verify AI-generated code changes without running the branch locally?

You need a service that can run the app in a preview or CI environment, execute a basic browser flow, and attach the output to the PR. That turns manual local verification into a quick visual check inside the review workflow.

Is visual PR review for AI coding agents a real SaaS business?

Yes, it looks like a credible niche SaaS if kept focused. The pain is concrete, tied to an existing workflow, and close enough to team productivity that paid plans for engineering orgs make sense.

Who would pay for a GitHub app that records app changes for pull requests?

Small engineering teams, agencies, and solo developers using AI coding tools are the most likely early buyers. The people paying are usually the ones stuck reviewing bot-generated PRs and burning time on manual verification.

How is this different from Playwright, Chromatic, or CI screenshots?

The difference is product framing and workflow placement. Playwright is a testing tool, Chromatic is centered on UI review for component workflows, and CI screenshots are usually raw artifacts; this idea is a review-first layer built specifically for AI-generated PR trust.

What is the hardest part of building a visual PR review tool?

The hardest part is making capture reliable across messy real-world app setups. Recording a browser flow is easy in a demo; getting it to work across auth, seeded state, preview environments, and flaky startup conditions is where the product work really is.
